Dr. Karla Clarke

Part Time Instructor

Office Hours: By Appointment Only
Locations: (Campus & Office)
Biography: It is truly a privilege to be able to take the knowledge one has attained and continue to pass that to new students seeking to apply their knowledge to benefit others. I am an adjunct faculty member, so I'm not located on campus. I live in California and I am a Cybersecurity Director. With that this course is very closely related to what I do on a daily basis: Strategic roadmaps, monthly board presentations, and leading the organization through crisis like Covid and more recently Log4j.

I have over ten years of cybersecurity experience in the information security. Additionally, I am a speaker at industry conferences yearly to stay abreast of the coming trends. In 2019 I spoke at RSA, Ping Identiverse, and Gartner. in 2022 I'm slated to present on transformational strategies at RSA 2022. I enjoy teaching but most importantly I enjoy learning from students.
