Biography: Dr. Ingram is a Professor and is currently the Chair of the Department of Nursing at Middle Georgia State University. She has 21 years of experience in academia and 37 years as a Registered Nurse. Specialty areas of practice included medical/surgical nursing, intensive care nursing, and dialysis. Dr. Ingram has served in many roles during her nursing career including staff nurse, charge nurse, Nurse Manager, Director of Quality and Inservice, and Nursing Professor.

Dr. Ingram obtained a BSN degree and a MSN in Nursing Administration from Georgia College and State University. She obtained a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Medical College of Georgia (MCG). Her area of interest in her doctoral studies included organizational readiness for evidence-based practice implementation.

Dr. Ingram volunteered for Central Georgia Susan G Komen organization for which she was a Board Member. She also is a past-President for the Georgia Association for Nursing Education (GANE) non-profit organization and is currently the President of the Jones County Rotary Club. Additionally, she currently serves as the Chair for the Academic Advisory Committee on Nursing (AACON).

Since 2020, Dr. Ingram has conducted nursing program accreditation visits for the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) organization as a Peer Evaluator. She also volunteers as a participant for ACEN's Evaluation Review Panel.
