| Teaching and Research Interests: | My teaching interests focus on criminal justice administration, juvenile justice, and the U.S. corrections system, with an emphasis on helping students connect classroom learning with real-world practice. I am committed to fostering strong analytical and decision-making skills through case studies, policy evaluations, and applied learning. My research centers on youth development, justice reform, and the pathways that support successful outcomes for young people involved in the justice system. I am especially interested in how mentorship, educational access, and workforce readiness initiatives can reduce recidivism and strengthen community ties. |
