INTRODUCTION
Scholarly Practitioner with a strong commitment to preparing students to be positive, impactful leaders and managers. Experienced in creating classes that provide engaging, reflective learning by integrating sound academic instruction with professional experiences in leading teams and organizations. Coursework emphasizes character-based leadership and the development of humble, people-centered leaders that foster team members’ growth and organizational excellence.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PHILOSOPHY
Most people can grow as a leader when they make Positive Effective Leadership (PEL) (which is founded on the integration of Competence and Character) part of who they are (vs just something they do). PEL simultaneously develops team members into people who flourish and develops organizations into organizations that pursue excellence. And when these two things happen, success follows naturally.
