The goal of this project was to improve freshman retention through the implementation of
freshman learning communities/cohorts. Two cohorts of incoming freshmen were formed that
shared instructors across their English, history, and political science courses. Our findings were
presented at the 14th Annual National Learning Communities Conference at Kennesaw State
University.
