| Biography: | Dr. Kedrick L. Williams, DHA, MPH is a driven and energetic public health professional with an appetite for advancing health care access, knowledge, and quality of care for underserved and marginalized populations. He has displayed his expertise in community outreach and programming, partnership development, database management and formative program evaluation in several past platforms. From May 2013-May 2021, he completed an eight-year career tenure with the Southeastern Primary Care Consortium, Inc., Atlanta AHEC having served and been promoted through three different roles concluding with Preceptor Coordinator. From June 2021-January 2026, Dr. Williams provided rural health awareness and public health project management at the Georgia Rural Health Innovation Center at Mercer University School of Medicine through the roles of Community Resource and Assessment Specialist and promoted to Senior Rural Health Project Manager. He holds a nationally recognized certification as a Mental Health First Aid instructor and values creating opportunities to educate, enlighten and empower people of all ages on mental health stigma and wellness. A Macon native and an ordained minister, Rev. Williams serves as Associate Pastor of New Howard Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and remains active with the Macon-Middle Georgia Chapter of the Morehouse College National Alumni Association. He values quality time and traveling with his family and believes that in all aspects of life, "to become an effective leader, you must first be willing to follow". |
