Our mission is to graduate professionals who are not only technically proficient but also ready to lead and shape the technological advancements transforming our world.

The Department offers two Bachelor of Science programs: a BS in Computer Science and a BS in Applied Artificial Intelligence.

The BS in Computer Science provides a strong foundation in core computing principles, including programming, algorithms, software engineering, systems, cybersecurity, human-computer interaction, and emerging technologies. Students gain both theoretical depth and practical experience, preparing them for careers in software development, systems design, cybersecurity, and advanced graduate study.

The BS in Applied Artificial Intelligence was intentionally designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving AI landscape. This program emphasizes machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, AI applications, ethical and societal implications of AI, and real-world implementation. Students learn how to design, deploy, and evaluate intelligent systems across industries such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, defense, and beyond.

Across both programs, our dedicated faculty—active educators and researchers—bring real-world expertise and innovative scholarship into the classroom. Students develop the ability to:

  • Think critically and solve complex problems using computational and AI-driven approaches.
  • Design and implement efficient, scalable, and secure software systems.
  • Adapt to emerging technologies and evolving industry demands.
  • Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary, team-based environments.

Experiential learning is central to our philosophy. Through internships, research initiatives, industry partnerships, and hands-on projects, students gain meaningful practical experience that strengthens both their technical and professional skills.
