About the Program
Middle Georgia State University's online Post-Master's AGACNP certificate program is designed to address the dynamic needs of the healthcare industry, empowering Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) to obtain their AGACNP certifications and excel in acute care settings.
With all courses provided online and two required on-campus immersion days every semester, the certification program is led by experienced faculty members who will guide you with personalized mentorship.
Elevate your nursing career with a comprehensive 24-hour scope of practice that emphasizes health promotion, differential diagnosis, disease management, and both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. Clinical hours will be determined by a GAP analysis.

*If you have a college transcript from MGA, you do not have to pay for or send your transcript to Admissions.
**Included with the application, applicants must submit a 500-word minimum written Statement of Purpose, which includes an overview of how the AGACNP program will enhance their knowledge, skills, and abilities in their future AGACNP position and how the specialty will impact healthcare outcomes and the provisions of healthcare. This Statement of Purpose should reflect scholarly writing in APA format to include a clear, concise flow of ideas and the use of citations.
Note: Evidence of writing competence will be evaluated through the candidate's prepared Statement of Purpose submitted with the application.
