What is Dual Enrollment?

Georgia Academy, Middle Georgia State University’s (MGA) unique Dual Enrollment program, enrolls your student in college-level coursework to meet their high school graduation requirements while earning college credits.

Students can choose to graduate with an associate's degree, receive an honors distinction, participate in experiential learning, and/or receive college credits to continue their academic careers.  The state-funded program sets students up for success early at little to no cost.

We offer convenient on-campus classes at any of our 5 campus locations, Macon, Cochran, Warner Robins, Dublin or Eastman, or Online.

What Role Do I Play?

Your role is very important. As your child is on a new journey of becoming a Knight, he/she will need to discover if MGA is the best fit. Along the journey, they will need reminders of the added responsibility of being a college student (logging into their MGA email, speaking with instructors, maintaining class assignments).

MGA adheres to the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), a law that protects the privacy of student education records. To access student academic information, your student must fill out a Student Consent for Access to Educational Records Form.
