Career Goals: “My goal is to become a school counselor, driven by a passion to guide and empower young people as they navigate both academic and personal challenges. I’m committed to helping students reach their potential and discover their own sense of purpose. My long-term goal is to become a high school principal, where I can influence change on a broader level by shaping school culture, supporting educators, and fostering environments where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to succeed.”
He chose Middle Georgia State University because … “The University has a welcoming community and provides opportunities for leadership and personal growth. From the moment I stepped on campus, I knew MGA was a place where I could strengthen my leadership skills, connect with inspiring mentors, and prepare for a meaningful career in education.”
The greatest thing he discovered about Middle Georgia State was … “The strong sense of support and community among students, faculty, and staff. I’ve learned that MGA values every student’s potential and gives us the tools to thrive academically and professionally.”
His greatest academic experience a Middle Georgia State student has been … “Exploring the field of psychology and understanding how it applies to real-world situations, decision-making, and leadership. It has strengthened my ability to connect with people, communicate effectively, and lead with empathy.”
To him, greatness means … “Using your gifts to uplift others. It is being rooted in integrity, fueled by purpose, and sustained through service. Greatness is the ability to lead with compassion, persevere through challenges, and stay anchored in faith and purpose through it all. It’s not about recognition but about the impact you leave, the lives changed, the hope restored, and the inspiration you ignite in others to believe that all things are possible.”
In five years … “I see myself beginning my career as a teacher to gain firsthand experience in the classroom and make a direct impact on students’ lives. While teaching, I plan to pursue my master’s degree in school counseling, followed by my Ed.D. in educational leadership. Personally, I plan to continue mentoring youth, serving in leadership within my community, and laying the foundation for my future goal of becoming a high school principal.”
