More than 800 Students Set To Graduate At MGA’s Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremonies

About 825 students, including the first class of the Doctor of Science in Public Safety, are candidates for graduation at Middle Georgia State University’s (MGA’s) fall 2025 commencement ceremonies.  

Five ceremonies are scheduled over two days: Wednesday, December 10, and Thursday, December 11. All will take place at the Recreation & Wellness Center on MGA’s Macon Campus and livestreamed at mga.edu/live. Commencement speakers include leaders in healthcare, business, law, and aviation.  

Among the graduation candidates, 20 will earn doctorates, 174 will receive master’s degrees or graduate-level certificates, and 510 will collect bachelor’s degrees. The remaining candidates are completing associate’s degrees or certificates in career programs.  

The ceremony schedule is: 

Wednesday, December 10, 2025 

9 a.m. – Commencement Speaker: Delvecchio S. Finley, Georgia Market President, Atrium Health

Ca’Shun Barr, MGA’s Student Government Association president and a graduating senior in aviation science and management, will bring remarks on behalf of the student body at all five ceremonies.
