Learning Support

The Learning Support program provides students with additional preparation in mathematics
and/or English. This program is designed to increase a student’s success during their college careers.

Students with less than 30 hours are placed in Learning Support according to their high school GPAs, SAT/ACT scores, and, in some cases, scores on mathematics and English placement tests.

Learning Support includes the following mathematics and/or English courses:
* MATH 0988 – Foundations for Math Modeling
* MATH 0998 – Support for Math Modeling
* ENGL 0989 – Foundation of English Composition
* ENGL 0999 – Support English Composition

Students in Learning Support must see LS advisors each semester until they have completed their Learning Support course requirements. An LS Advising Hold will prevent registration and can be removed by an LS advisor.
