The CETL team works to provide support and resources for MGA faculty on every campus and online. Below are some suggested resources we have gathered to help with this goal.

Faculty Toolbox


The CETL maintains a collection of resources inside D2L/Brightspace called the Faculty Toolbox for easy access anywhere. Teaching materials linked here, plus more support materials on teaching and learning topics and using technology in the classroom, are available there. All faculty are enrolled automatically in the toolbox. You can visit the Faculty Toolbox for more information or contact the CETL.   

 

Workshops & Events


The CETL hosts workshops and webinars on various teaching and learning topics throughout the semester. If you would like to view upcoming events, you can visit the Faculty Toolbox. Most events are recorded and available for viewing in there as well.

The CETL also hosts two annual events that allow faculty to learn from colleagues and collaborate on ways to enrich teaching practices.

Quality Matters


The CETL supports MGA's Strategic Plan, Priority 1 by providing support and opportunities related to Quality Matters (QM)  The CETL team can assist faculty interested in learning more about QM, or faculty can self-enroll in the new MomentumU@USG course on applying the 7th edition of the Quality Matter's Higher Education Rubric to evaluate online and blended courses for design quality.

 

MomentumU@USG


MomentumU@USG is an online portal with resources, workshops, virtual events, and collaborative research supporting evidence-based teaching practices. All USG faculty and staff may self-enroll.
