Annual Security & Fire Safety Reports
The Annual Security Report (ASR) and the Annual Fire Safety Report (AFSR) cover Middle Georgia State University’s five campuses: Macon, Warner Robins, Cochran, Dublin, and Eastman. It reflects the University’s ongoing commitment to transparency, safety, and community well-being.
These reports are required under the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act, part of the Higher Education Opportunity Act, and serve as an essential resource for students, employees, and visitors to understand MGA’s safety environment and policies.
Annual Security Report (ASR)
The ASR is a comprehensive overview of campus safety and security at MGA. It includes information about:
- Campus law enforcement authority and patrol operations
- Crime prevention and awareness programs
- Emergency response and notification procedures
- Safety and security policies
- Missing student and disciplinary procedures
- Drug and alcohol policies
- Clery crime statistics for the three most recent calendar years
- Resources and support services for victims
