MISSION AND PROGRAM

The mission of the Department of Psychology and Criminal Justice is to provide quality instruction in the fields of psychology, sociology and criminal justice at both introductory and advanced levels.  An associate degree is offered in the field of Criminal Justice. Associate degrees are designed to prepare graduates for entry-level employment in relevant fields and /or to prepare students for baccalaureate study. Baccalaureate degrees are offered in Psychology, and Criminal Justice. Baccalaureate degrees are designed to provide student entry into a relevant profession and/or preparation for graduate study. Minors are available in Criminal Justice, and Sociology in addition to certificate programs in Criminal Justice, Gerontology. All programs are designed to produce analytic, critical thinkers prepared to succeed in meeting the challenges of modern life.
