The mission of the Department of Psychology and Criminal Justice is to provide quality instruction in the fields of psychology, sociology, social work, criminal justice, and public service at both introductory and advanced levels. Associate degrees are offered in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice. Associate degrees are designed to prepare graduates for entry-level employment in relevant fields and/or to prepare students for baccalaureate study. Baccalaureate degrees are offered in Psychology, Public Service/Human Services, and Criminal Justice. Baccalaureate degrees are designed to provide student entry into a relevant profession and/or preparation for graduate study. All programs are designed to produce analytic, critical thinkers prepared to succeed in meeting the challenges of modern life.
