Department of Psychology and Criminal Justice

Welcome to the home of The Department of Psychology and Criminal Justice at Middle Georgia State University! Our faculty includes teacher-scholars who seek to educate our majors using the latest theory, research, and applications in the behavioral sciences. Our Bachelor’s Degree programs in Psychology and in Criminal Justice produce graduates who can make meaningful connections between textbook theory and real-world applications.

Our Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and emphasizes a comprehensive approach to understanding behavior, ranging from biological, developmental, and clinical perspectives to social, cultural, and applied analyses.

The Department’s Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice prepares students for positions in a wide array of in-demand career paths such as in law enforcement.

We also offer an Associate degree in Criminal Justice; minors in Sociology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Criminal Justice. We invite you to come meet with a faculty advisor to plan your professional path in the behavioral sciences.
