MGA Travelers Reflect on Recent Greece Trip
The Middle Georgia State University Alumni Travel Program set sail this summer for an unforgettable adventure through the Greek Isles, bringing together alumni and friends for a journey filled with connection, discovery, and lasting memories. From breathtaking coastal views to shared experiences onboard, the June 2026 cruise captured the spirit of what makes MGA’s travel program so special — community.
"Our trip to Greece was phenomenal! Not only did we experience the beauty and history of Greece and many of its islands, but we were able to do so as friends and colleagues of MGA," shared Teri Miller, Chair of the Department of Respiratory Therapy and Health Sciences. "I am very thankful for our wonderful travel planners and our MGA Alumni Association for having this program. We are already looking forward to future trips!"
Another traveler, Dr. Valerie Mercer, Assistant Professor of Information Technology, echoed the excitement, sharing, "We had the trip of a lifetime! Every detail was handled and triple-checked, making the experience seamless from start to finish. From exploring Athens to cruising the Greek Islands and even venturing into Turkey, it was an unforgettable journey—and I am already ready for the next adventure!"
Looking ahead, even more exciting opportunities are on the horizon. Plans for 2027 Alumni & Friends Travel Program trips are already in development. Get ready to explore the world with MGA.
