Spring 2021 Commencement Ceremonies

Middle Georgia State’s Spring Commencement ceremonies will be in-person in the Recreation & Wellness Center on the Macon Campus. Commencement will take place May 11 and 12 (10:00 am and 3:00 pm each day) and May 13 (10:00 am). See the Dates & Times page for more information.

Increasing the number of ceremonies allows the University to resume in-person celebrations of our graduates while giving MGA the space and flexibility needed to adhere to the CDC and state of Georgia’s COVID-related health and safety measures, including the ability to social distance.

Please note that graduates will be limited to the number of guests each may invite to the in-person ceremony. Each graduate will receive two tickets for guests, including children, and each guest MUST have a ticket. There will be no option for additional tickets. Seating will be assigned. Guests should be seated no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony. There will be no late seating. Other family members and friends may livestream the ceremony at mga.edu/live.
