MSOT Program Fast Facts

  • Bridge program for Occupational Therapy Assistants – overall length is 28 months (2 years, plus one semester)
  • Bachelor’s degree is not required for admission, however applicants must have completed 84 semester credit hours (including 12 credit hours of prerequisite courses)
  • Cohorts begin annually in the Fall semester
  • Classes are offered in a hybrid online/weekend format (see technology requirements)
  • Weekend component will be on Cochran campus approximately once per month
  • 7 sequential semesters, including Level II Fieldwork
  • Final two semesters consist of two 12-week (total of 24 weeks) Level II Fieldwork experiences in a minimum of two different settings
  • All fieldwork must be completed within 18 months of completion of the didactic portion of program
  • Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) degree awarded by Middle Georgia State University
